IN The following most-recent posting online, my old classmate, Mr Ron W, makes some interesting points, and writing as a Barack Obama-supporter nonetheless full of respect for the concession of her campaign hopes at the weekend, of Mrs New York Democrat Senator William Jefferson “Bill” Hillary Rodham-Clinton:
BE That as it may, I perceive that he was in turn perhaps a tad too-archly dismissive to some points averred by a respondent, Mr/Ms me15, and so I weighed in with of course my accustomed perspicacity:
MR/MS me 15 in the initial response supra actually does raise a number of valid points, all conducing toward a nuanced critique of the ultimately deadly perils, of two-value or “Two Party,” binary, thinking
1. You have to be against capital punishment but support abortion on demand (wrote me 15.)
ONE Way or another, this is a moral conundrum — I personally support freedom of choice, but abortion is full of acute anguishes we should not gloss over and it were better not needed. As to the death-penalty, I am against it (or at least me deciding it — I would enjoy this too, too much!) because it is the ultimate simpleminded Two-Value Only problem. The fact remains however that we are mythical animals — and, to deny some the death penalty for their acts is, effectively, to deny them therefore the meaning (and fulfillment) of their individual life on this Earth.
2. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity (ibid.)
AS A Libertarian, I am bemused to say the least by those who make baloney two-valued distinctions between the governmental and the corporate personality, both are inferior (both in the technical pshychological sense and, most certainly, morally) and a menace ultimately to all — liberty of course requires restraint, this is unbeknownst to pornographers of course because freedom is not license and spewed Howard Stern’s illiteracies, and so constitutional severe constraints must be erected (in our American case, please note , RE-erected) against the pretensions of both governmentalized non-productive “helping professionals” AND oversized corporations.
3.You have to believe the only reason socialism hasn’t worked anywhere it’s been tried is because the right people haven’t been in charge (ibid.)
THIS Point is the heart of the matter — as the muslim Sufis point out, in some historical periods the possiblity of significant regeneration of enough people is at least remote, this is a recurring cycle, America is not the first society to enter into the sewers of senectitude, but it is a still tragedy. The sufi point nonetheless remains the point, and not our random affects about our possibly-waning postcontemporary situation, which is ephemeral:
NOTHING Can be done without the right people in the right place, at the right time.
ALSO, the goal is then to raise the sights of “the people,” not to keep them in a leftwing any more than a rightwing moral kindergartenn.
4.You have to believe Republicans are evil and Democrats in Congress really care about you (ibid.)
AGAIN, Mr/Ms em 15 perhaps unwittingly points out the implicit disaster of all two-valued “reasoning.” Empathy is ultimately a personal affair, it may surprise some to read it written here that it is scarce, but that when it occurs it cuts across the nonsense of party lines, as it does all religions, and there are likewise at least as many sociopaths in all large organizations (only uniformly distributed, unlike the empaths) such as the Rape Ugly on and Democrat parties. These are simply a human statistical facts.
5. You have to believe the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the [C]onstitution while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the constitution (ibid.)
I Simply carry a weapon from time-to-time as needed (only rarely, eg) and simply pay no attention to any of this strangulated fuming — I was taught in college that I am a white man, a racist and skunk, and violence-prone therefore, and that guns are simply second nature to me. Also, the fact is that constitutions wear out as does everything else in this sufi “abode of decay,” and as to our Constitution, strict construction makes it clear I think (NB — classical logical thought is an 18th century notion) that keeping weapons at home was about participation in a well-regulated militia on the swiss model, in the township (or city ward) and state, and to resist among other things overbearing central misgovernment. Please see the following, if you would wish:
(Having swiss forebears of course, I am the first to admit that a taste for liberty may indeed be in part congenital — ERS)
IN Closing, I will admit I do not like Mrs Bill Clinton’s vinegary all-into-therapy-now personality, and we are happily to be spared (some of the time) that cawing Midland Educated (sic) American voice, too — but, she certainly did make a fine speech full of excellent leadership and inspiration, at least to persons easily satisfied that reform within our aged setup is still possible, and she most certainly knows a lot more about twiddling the federal levers than does Mr Illinois Democrat Senator Barack Obama
THE Question remains, though, to what point:
BOTH Mrs Bill Clinton and Mr Barack Obama almost immediately prostrated themselves in front of a foreign government confronting severe civil rights problems on “its own” turf — and, in any case, the same greasy paraprofessionals in the same greasy think tanks will be pouring the same ill-digested garp and greasy bottom-feedings into the oily heads of the new Democrat misadminstration as are now feeding shit and Shnloa to the present Big Oil-halfwits, and the profoundly damaged and objectively God-damned Mr Republican Vice-President Richard “Dick” Cheney.
HERE Is a final question for you all
DOES Anyone suppose today that the chinese and israeli and saudi governments are funding “only one” (or the other) of the two “great” american parties in this campaign?
FINALLY, This lampoon below on the essentially vulgar state-liberalist personality (and please remember, as to twiddling Republicans are also nothing but a diseased load of Democrat-like twiddlers) will be amusing to some:
IN Closing, you may wish to contrast the islamic version which is altogether much more to the point:
(Fazulistan, or “Land of Fools,” in contemporary teaching can be taken as a synonym for America — ERS)
