Here is a link to a worldwide roster of railroad crashes from 1950 to 2000:
This site is really unwholesome, and if you go to their homepage you can see information on all sorts of transportation disasters.
I am particularly interested in the head on collision of BN RR freight trains Extra 6760 West and Extra 7907, on 14 June 1984, near Motley, MN. This is the title of the NTSB report concerning that accident:
Head On Collision of Burlington Northern Railroad Freight Trains Extra 6760 West and Extra 7907 East, near Motley, Minnesota, June 14, 1984.
NTSB Report Number: RAR-85-06, adopted on 4/30/1985
NTIS Report Number: PB85-916306
Any information you may have is welcome.
