…will go far indeed to persuade the perceptive viewer of the validity of the central thesis undergirding the historianship in the pp of Bodwyn Wook :
THE Modern Age is over, it ended in 1989, with the collapse of communism and the pulling down of the Berlin Wall; and, indeed, the images in the Lowell Thomas documentary were recorded only nineteen years before the building of that same wall. All of that has now been utterly so swept away that plainly, whatever the times are to be called in which we live now, they most emphatically are not “modern ” anymore — as you have just seen for yourselves, above.
