We are free and getting freer every day. So now it is time to start acting that way. And why are we so free all of a sudden? Well, rather obviously…
…nobody, and I do mean nobody and no one, is in charge. Not any more “they” aren’t. If there ever was a “conspiracy,” the people trying to have it are so obviously stepping on their own dicks now, with a bungled epidemic coming right smack dab on top of a big FDR-style depression, that they are just all alone with their BS, and no one is paying them any attention any more. Any conspiracy there ever was is just a big fat false alarm and a bunch of foul balls. Nuts to them, they don’t know how to play ball, and any wannabe “conspirators” are lousy Americans anyway. Responsibility for our daily lives together now is completely up to us. Completely. This will happen neighborhood by neighborhood and town by town. That is because in a free society governed by the people and for the people, if people can’t work out how to work together right where they live, well “their” federal government sure can’t do it for them. We are entering a new era of self-control and self-government right on the streets or farms where you and I live. Together. There will be the usual ration of immature tools who have seen lots of Tee Vee and will try to set up violent gangs, and who will maybe have to be shot and hung. But that just means there will be plenty of great opportunities for us all as federal authority collapses with kind of a far-off farting sound, and some folks will just naturally screw it up along the way. Assholes are like that, but anyway without the federal government to hire them on they just won’t get to do as much harm to others again. Ever. Because ours will be a free society again in the best individual sense of the word, social solutions to meeting social needs will vary with the type and makeup of communities. So in different parts of the country there will be a lot more variety and traveling will be real interesting again, just to see how different Americans live and solve their problems together. What I am saying is that while the usual wannabes will no doubt be the usual pain in the ass, the well-organized gangs in some places themselves will actually take over the social services of their communities. This is just what gangs did in the old days in American big city politics. That was before the progressive era tried “big government” solutions. The city machines had become corrupt, needed reforms were made — but now the national government has become both corrupt and unworkable. It mainly exists to pay money to all sorts of “helping professionals” who then aren’t allowed to deal with people as individuals. The federal government no longer works and the news is this, President Obama cannot breath life into a corpse any more than The Night Of The Walking Dead Bush & Cheney, Inc., ever could. Phony Pearl Harbor remakes, phony financial collapses, the tragedy of President Obama is not the tragedy of Lincoln, it is more like that of irrelevance and maybe President Hoover or Carter. Barack Obama, who I happen to see is a very fine man but in a lame game, is living in the wrong mental era politically and completely. This is because he was educated and has worked all his life as a late-modern professional, and those days of the trained professional classes are over. You may not agree with me about Barack Obama and think he is a jerk, or worse, but as far as that goes I am the one writing this here and not you, and so let’s just leave it at that. OK. The real point is that the oldtime American freedom is once again ours by default. The fault is that the Baby Boom professional classes tried too long to stay around and draw big pay and prestige in the middle of the new postmodern age. The rest of the time they listen to Ann Coulter and Al Franken and call each “fascists” and “secret queers!” As much as anything else, they are just too boring for words, and they are lifeless and rundown and pessimistic about the environment and our ordinary everyday human nature, and just about everything else. Everything is a problem, and nobody can be let do anything without “training.” They depress everybody. This stuff doesn’t give anybody a big rush any more and so, just like happens to the characters in their own Tee Vee shows, the Baby Boomers have been left behind by the times. That’s all. Too bad for them and anybody who believes in them. Their status and corporations and laws and “compliance officers” and credentialing societies and enforcement agencies just don’t have any believable authority left. At best the “Homeland Security” Baby Boomers for example just use their jobs as social opportunities to engage in weird sex practices with war prisoners. The “terrorists” are foreign-looking and this makes their “interrogators” horny. It’s like in grainy out-of-focus 70’s porno flicks with thin black lines through their eyes so nobody can possibly “guess” who they are. I personally don’t care as long as the foreigners actually want to be there too. But it’s way pathetic and mostly the kind of thing older guys who don’t even do very well on Viagra get up to, and anyway why should WE have to pay for other people’s jollies? There’s usually a lot of early Alzheimer’s with these government officials anyway, so asking why are we so free all of a sudden is exactly the wrong question. These people started to lose their grip as early as 1993. That was after twenty or twenty-five years of bad hygiene and being hippies already. Cocaine and then mood-altering “legal” medical prescriptions had a lot to do with this. So the real question is, now that liberty has dropped right smack dab back into our hands like a nice cold bottle of beer:
How are WE going to do differently THIS time, so we DON’T wreck our American liberty AGAIN?
