As an American patriot and conservative, and NOT a nationalist and Republican stuffed with the less-than-coherent “conservativism” of Mr O’Hannity and everybody on Fox Tee Vee, I can say that I respect President Obama even though as a libertarian constitutionalist I do not, and logically can not, agree with his political ideas. It is enough to say that he won his toss and these are now his innings. But naming the President for the Nobel prize so way in advance of any substantial accomplishments by his still-new Presidency is so far beyond disrespectful only nine months after his inauguration that it is just ridiculous. Peace has not broken out in Afghanistan, still less in the Sudan. And, the Republican National Committee most certainly have not come hats in hands to the Attorney General, begging in a becoming display of repentance just for once, for special investigation and audits and treatment; and to be indicted, oh, for so many things including the sheer illiteracy of it all. Therefore, for the sake of our country, his office and the man himself, I do hope as an American conservative and patriot that this sitting President will have the moxie, constitutionally as a man and respectfully as our fellow citizen, to decline this unearned award:
It is the greatest public test of his new character in office thus far.
